Redirect to other than loginpage on manager logout?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any way to, on manger logout, redirect to an url other than the manager login page? What I want is my manager users to be redirected to the site homepage on logout.

I've tried messing with a plugin listening to OnManagerLogout, but without any luck.

Thanks!

Doesn't look like the logout code allows for such a thing, so the plugin would be the way to go. Use http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/modX.sendRedirect or http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/modX.sendForward

Ok,

I've tried this plugin code:

And have it listening to the OnManagerLogout event.

But when I logout, absolutely nothing happens: I click the OK-button in the appearing dialog, but remain in the manager. Any action after this pops up the login dialog (so I get logged out), but I don't get redirected anywhere, not even the login page.

Disregard the link in the sendRedirect function above (something added by this forum?) – should be just the http-url.

Hm. I see what you mean. It logs you out, but then just sits there on the last Manager page, no redirect or forward.

I suspect it's something to do with the Javascript; I think that popup asking you to confirm that you want to log out is getting in the way.

Yeah, something like that. There's no (simple) way around it? Seems like something a few ppl before me would've wanted.
