I am trying to make the search option go straight to the landing page on submit instead of the dropdown results appearing, the form in it’s default installation already has " &AS_landing=`8` " in the parameters which I thought was the call to make it go straight to the landing page, below is what I have at the moment but can anyone tell me what I need to add or delete to stop the dropdown results bit appearing.
[[AjaxSearch? &AS_landing=`8` &moreResultsPage=`8` &showMoreResults=`1` &addJscript=`1` &extract=`1` &AS_showResults=`1`]]
Cheers
Hi!
This is what I am using:
[[AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_showResults=`0` &AS_landing=`23` &showMoreResults=`0` &moreResultsPage=`23`]]
the ’ajaxSearch=`0`’ is what you are looking for. Include that same tag on your landing page as well, otherwise ajaxSearch will not parse the POST variables.
Thankyou so much erikp,
I am brand new to MODx so just need help with what I guess is the basics while I try to get up and running with great system.
Thanks again
I have been playing with the parameters and when I add &ajaxSearch=`0` then the search box just will not respond to anything, if I delete this parameter then it works find, I have tried a few different versions by deleting other parameters in case 2 dont work with each other but no luck, I also treid to add a few other bits in but none gave the expected result and the output was not changed, below is my search parameters can anyone see anything obvious that I have for which will stops the form from working where I add &ajaxSearch=`0`
[[!AjaxSearch? &AS_landing=`8` &AS_showForm=`1` &moreResultsPage=`8` &showMoreResults=`8` &addJscript=`1` &extract=`1` &AS_showResults=`8`!]]
Cheers
