Can Chunks be nested within the resource tree?

Is it possible to nest chunks in the resource tree the same way documents can be? Thanks.

No. Chunks are just chunks of HTML code. You can put them in Categories, and give them properties that can be accessed with placeholders of the same name in the chunk. Chunks can themselves contain MODx tags including other chunk tags.

Thanks. I am trying to think of ways to visually organize them in the tree according to similar characteristics/functions.

That would be Categories.
