Hello all,
I'm not a fan of rich text editors, but I'm using TinyMCE for Articles, for a blog written by my boss, so that he doesn't have to fiddle with HTML tags. However, I'm getting tired of unchecking "Rich text" on all my other resources to make TinyMCE go away.
So here's my question: Is there a way I can tell TinyMCE I only want it to show up when editing one certain resource and its children (i.e. Articles)? MODX is so flexible, I'm sure there's a way, but I wouldn't know what it was. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!
You can control the rich text editor on a user group basis.

That's true, although it's not quite what I'm wanting to do. Could you point me to some guidance on how to do that in Revo? Seems like I had it set up that way in Evo once upon a time, but my Google searches are coming up empty-handed.

It's not exactly light reading.
You'll want to create a user group for your blogger with tinyMCE on, and then turn tinyMCE off for yourself.
