Fileupload backend with renaming of files

One of my biggest wish for modx is that when a backend-manager are uploading an image or file, the filename is renamed so it wont break phpthumb or the filemanager.

I make sites for people in Norway and they are notorious to name their files with alot of spaces and norwegian letters.

It would be so nice that the spaces was replaced with dash or underscore and norwegian letters were changed to normal english letters.

Every week some customer is wondering why a picture isnt showing, and 99% of the time it is because of a space or a norwegian letter.

If you haven't already you may want to file that over on the tracker (http://tracker.modx.com/projects/revo). That's the best play to ensure it gets addressed.
