Sorting of Components?

How do you sort (sortBy, SortDir) the things you put in Components, in my case the picture albums in Cliche and videos in VidLister?

I dont think getPage has sort by default, I think you need to utilise something similar to:

and utilise getResources instead.

Ok, but getResources can't grab content from components, only resources right?

I think getpage will use any element, I was probably havign a brain melt when i said use getResources

Basically what it does is act as a wrapper for any listing snippet, and you just use whatever properties the snippet would use; getPage will pass the properties on to the snippet.

Hmm, guess i have to give MIGX a try.

vidLister should work with getPage and has also sortby and sortdir - properties
