How do I enable use of the unsubscribe link for Quip?

Revo: 2.2.2-pl
Quip: 2.3.2

I've been searching to see if Quip has an unsubscribe feature and I seem to have found that it was implemented back in February of 2012 (http://tracker.modx.com/issues/6997) and updated in Git (https://github.com/splittingred/Quip/commit/12deb0b5559917a41277ab37566e441b385dc6ec).

I'm running the latest version of Quip but my Quip files don't have the same changes that were committed in Github.

Is there something I must do to my Quip files to make use of the unsubscribe feature (i.e. copy over the changes from Github)?
