Blank page on site after install - manager is ok

    Hi Folks,

    Complete modx newbie here [although i have some experience with other CMS systems]. Love the look of Modx though so keen to get it up and running.

    I had a copy of my first site working on one server and have since copied it to the server I ultimately want to use. Fairly sure I did everything I was supposed to but the main index.php page is just completely blank. The manager section is working fine, however.

    My initial thought was that I’ve missed something in the transfer from the first site to the second. However I couldn’t work it out .. so I tried a fresh blank install on the same server, new site, new database etc.

    This gave the same result, Manager works fine, no config errors - but the main site page shows totally blank, no errors, just blank.

    Does anyone know what I’m missing here?

    CentOS Linux
    Apache
    PHP4
    MYSQL4

      Sounds like our friend auto_prepend_file is set in your configuration. Please see http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,15342.0.html for more information and some workarounds until 0.9.6.1 is released.

        Last time I got a blank page, it was because of RewriteBase in .htaccess... maybe it’s same for you, maybe not ! huh

            i have this blank page issue after running the FlexSearchForm and ContactForm snippets in Modx 9.6 on a server running CGI not apache yet I have another site running Modx 9.2 on the same server and the snippets work perfectly fine!

            I have tried the work around mentioned in this thread but I am still having the same issues.

            Does anyone have any ideas why this would be? I am tearing my hair out and can’t understand why it would work fine in one site but not another and yet they are on the same server!!!
