    Hi guys,

I'm slowly learning ModX... And so far I can see its potential, even though I can't unleash its full power yet. But it will come.

For now, I'm simply moving the HTML and break it inside ModX. But I also am thinking about the users that will need to create articles on the website.

As you all know, a user is rarely a geek type of guy and the person that is supposed to create content for the website is totally lost if out of Outlook and Word.

I had in mind I could help this guy by making the easiest way : a folder hierarchy (the same as on the website). But I can't find a way to create a folder in the ressource tree.

So far I have this view :

To make it easier I would like to be able to create a folder to represent the website structure :

In this example I would do this :

    - Homepage
    -- Artists
    ---Artiste
    ---Artistes
    --Next menu
    ---Next content inside this menu
    -- and so forth

Like this all the artists would be in the same folder and make it obvious and easy to search for the user.

Is there any way to organize this kind of data in the Ressource menu ?

    Thanks for your help

Simply drag the resource you want to be the "child" into the resource you want to be the "parent" (it will show a green + when you can drop it into place). All it takes to make a "folder" is for a resource to have children.

You can also create a resource as a child of another resource by right-clicking on the "parent" resource and selecting Create -> Create a Document Here (or whatever type of resource you want to create).
