Is it possible to prefix a containers alias to children being created (out of the box)?

For example a client creates a New Document under the 'News' container called 'Todays News'. news/ is automatically added to the new documents alias so all they have to add is todays-news to form news/todays-news.

I know this can be done for the entire website structure but I was wondering if it could be done to individual containers only.

    Cheers,

a plugin for the system-event onDocFormSave could do that.

That was going to be my plan if this can't be done out of the box smiley

There's also the 'Use Friendly Alias Path' (use_alias_path) system setting if you wanted to apply this behaviour globally across your site.
