EDIT: Fixed. After wiping out the plugin from the database, it was necessary to then go wipe out the cache file in assets/cache/ so that it would stop trying to use the SMF connector when I logged in.
I tinkered with the SMF plugin and tried to set it to listen to Manager user events thinking I could have it handle logins for Manager users. Well, now every time I try to log in to the Manager, I get a popup Javascript alert:
<script> window.setTimeout("alert(’Unable to load SMF settings. Please make sure that the SMF Path \\\’\\\’ was entered correctly’);window.location.href=’index.php?a=106’;",100);</script>
All I really care about is getting that to go away so that I can log in. I backed up the MODx database and tried removing the SMF plugin from there, and I removed the site_plugin_events entries relating to it’s plugin ID. This didn’t help.
Anyone know what I can do?
