Answered [SOLVED] MIGX Not Creating Configs?

Ran an installation of MIGx on a different server to what i usually use, the installation runs fine, so i create the tv and fields but when I come to edit a page that the tv is held on i get a Syntax Error popup.

Ive looked in the error log and im getting this:



Now ive never used a config before when ive set it up as its worked right out of the box, but is there a schema anywhere that i can use to create the modx_migx_configs table?

Edit: on actually checeking my other server, the table isnt created there either but the error is ignored and I can use MIGx without an issue

Any ideas?

Im not using it as a CMP, just a TV for a single page, as i say, ive not had any problems until this install with 2.3.2 - but its also ona different server

I wonder if theres something set on the server?

I've seen that. IIRC, I had to uninstall and remove MIGX versions one by one till none were left. Then, after a full core/cache clear, install the latest MIGX and configure as shown above.

At that point, my existing MIGX TV's would show, but not able to edit, add, or even see the TV contents (although the front end worked). Clearing core/cache brings it back, all filled out and working.

So, i cleared it all out, ran a fresh installation of both Revo and MigX 2.3.2pl but didnt do the CMP setup (as im not using it for a CMP)

Im now getting ;

syntax error:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any more ideas?

I really dont want to use the CMP option as its only to add a few images to a page.

you will need todo the Setup-steps in any case.
Otherwise the MIGX-configs-table isn't created and you will run into errors.

So i tried the config setup and as soon as i went into the component drop down i got the error posted above, so i think its something on the server.

IM just not sure what.

Is compress_css and compress_js on or off? If on, try off.

theyre both off - Ive run setup this morning and its companining about suhosin being too low, perhaps this is the problem.
