On saving a resource we get an endless saving loop if a TV which is used by this resource has a selected Resource Group in the Access Permissions.
This error occurs after we upgraded Revo from 2.2.2->2.2.5 We are not sure if this is a co-incidence or the reason for this error.
Can anybody confirm this problem, so this might be a bug of 2.2.5 or does anybody have an idea what could be the reason for this error in our case if it is not reproducible?

Is the Resource Group protected in any way? If so, the user would have to had the proper permissions to save the TV.

I work in this MODx-Setup as an "Administrator" (user group). In the tab "resource group access" of the user group "Administrator" there is definded the resource group (which was chosen for the TV) with a minimum role of 10 (Working as Adminstrator I have 0).
Is this the information you were thinking about?
Yes, that definitely should work unless there is a Form Customization rule at work or an Element Category Access ACL entry that affects the TV.

We indeed have a Form Customization rule for the Administrator for this template. In this the TV is selected as 'visible'.
The TV belongs like some other TVs to a Category in which the other TVs make no problems. If there would be an 'Element Category Access ACL' affecting the TV where could I find this ACL?
In Security -> Access controls -> User Groups tab, right-click on each user group and select "Update User Group". Look on the Element Category Access tab for any ACL entries for the category the TV is in.

The group was not in there, only its parent-group (Minimum Role: Editor 10, add_children, create, delete, list, load, remove, save, view, copy; context mgr).
We now added this entry but saving is still resulting in an endless loop.
Do you also have these endless loops when adding Access Permissions to a TV?
I've never seen that. Did you flush permissions and all settings on the Security menu before testing?
