I'm using a login and redirect snippet to offer my clients some files to download on restricted sites. I'm wondering if it is possible to get an email when a user has downloaded a file. I have no idea on how this could be done, but maybe one of you can help me? Would be just great!

Now i need to include the Name of the downloader in my email. The Downloads are just for logged in users - so maybe i can include the name of the downloader in my notify email? Maybe i can figure this out by myself - maybe not
To send the Username of the downloader i just included
in my email Template.
But I tried to use this Package on another installation (modx 2.1.1) and there i cannot download my files. When i press a Link of a File to download i get redirected and the FileDownloader-Table dissapears. I tried switching of cache but this didn't help. I removed the restricted permissions but this also didn't help. Has anyone a suggestion where the problem might be? Would be great if someone could help me!

hmmm.... now im wondering if it is also possible to get informed by email when someone uploads something. i'm using the fileupload snippet for this? Does anyone know if this can easily be done?
