Is it normal that the lexicons are not loaded on a 404 page?

I have a chunk with a lexicon inside, witch is loaded normaly on a "normal" page with the same template as my 404 page.

My modx version is : 2.2.2pl

Hopefully this rings a bell with someone.
(sorry for my English, I'm dutch )

Can you provide a sample of how you are calling the lexicon in your Chunk?
