simple function to search

Hello
I am looking for a simple function that can search a resouce with TV. I've looked at Simple Search and AdvSearch but none of them I have come to funger.
I have come forward to either Solr or zend the work, to index the database.
Hope there are some who can help me with a simpler solution / idea.

My TV also consists of migx intries.
