Error uploading files using FCKEditor.

I’ve a problem uploading files using FCKEditor.

When I open FCKEditor ther’s no image inside, only folders (but in images folder there any a lot of file and also some images uploaded one months ago).
If i try to upload a simple image, appeare: Error, "Disallowed file type."
But last time I used editor it works well.

If you are absolutely sure the file type isn’t the problem, than :

Is the difference that you are now using a hosting service instead of a local installation? (So your local installation works and your hosting does not)

I’m using Mac OSX with Firefox, I try to insert an image with Internet Explorer with Windows XP.. FCKEditor does not apperar and Explorer failed.
Is it possible to re-install only FCKEditor or is better to re-install all MODx

Anyone figured this out? This has occured to a site I’m running as well (ver 0.9.5) I’m able to view files via "Manage Files" but everytime I try to upload a simple file such as a jpg it says disallowed file...I’m positive the files is an allowed file type though.

Check the user overrides under security > manger users > settings tab ... also an upgrade to 0961 may sort this out as well.
