NewsPublisher problem with TVs and snippets

I just discovered that if I have a snippet reference in a TV, and edit that TV with NewsPublisher, the field on the NP editing screen doesn't keep the snippet tag in there ([[ snippetname ]]); it replaces it with the evaluated output of the snippet! So when you then save the resource, the TV gets saved with the snippet output embedded in it and the tag is gone. Not good...

Could you file that on the NewsPublisher issues page at GitHub?

It will probably be a while before I can get to it.

OK. I've updated the issue to make clear where the snippet evaluation happens (before display on the editing screen rather than during the saving process).

that describes a fix to what I reported, and it does indeed prevent snippet tags from being processed prior to being displayed in the NewsPublisher editing field. However, when I save the changes, the snippet tags now get deleted.
