Answered Can't open Context settings since 2.2.5

Installed the recent Revo update to 2.2.5 - all went fine until I found out that I no longer can open the settings of any context.
If I right click on a context in resource tree and choose "Edit context" - the context settings page loads but stays greyed out and the "load spinner" runs forever.

Also the manager page for contexts (menu System -> Contexts) shows an empty list (the context in resource tree are still available).

Already cleared cache (also manually in core/cache) - flushed permission and session - cleared browser cache - tried another browser.

Seems broken with this release!

I'm not seeing this on a clean install of 2.2.5 on Cloud nor a local dev install I've been working on.

Can you open up firebug/dev tools before you open the edit context page, and post the response of the ajax request to index.php? https://img.skitch.com/20121004-x7g8757kes3dg51rpn8eqkacha.jpg There's probably an error in there causing your issues. Might be something in the error log as well.

the response of the index.php (connectors/context) is empty (see screenshot). Also empty if I open Menu System/Contexts.
I upgraded from version 2.2.4.
The error log is empty.

I have a setup with 4 contexts - the site works fine only the manager has the problem.

I now will try to repair / re-run the setup - maybe something went wrong there.

I believe this may just be a js caching issue on upgraded sites...force refresh the cache after you load the Context editing view.
