    Hi,

    I'm trying to get the dates in my blog posts to show up in dutch, i'm using Articles 1.6.3.
    So i set the 'Locale' setting to nl_NL.
    CultureKey = nl

    but the dates still show english formatting.

    any ideas?

    tnx

        I don't know. this is a fresh install on a new server (for me new that is).

          Weird, nl_NL is working for me (since 2.2.4). What type of server are you using? (Linux CentOS, Linux Fedora, Windows?) Also tried nl_NL.UTF-8 and nld_nld ?

          And what do you mean by 'english formatting'? The language, 12/24h notation, or the position of the date/time output? This is what I normally use for dutch date notations:
          [[+publishedon:strtotime:date=`%e %b %Y`]]
          (would make: 4 okt 2012)

          On some pre 2.2.4 installs, this worked for me some times to get the date/time in the correct language: https://forums.modx.com/thread/71553/how-to-change-date-notation-to-other-local-language [ed. note: michelle84 last edited this post 13 years, 11 months ago.]

            hi Michelle,

            the problem has been fixed now. Yes i tried all of the settings you mention on a linux server (also the other post). and nothing worked. after harrasing the ISP for three days they changed something on the server. but they wouldn't tell me what they did. So if this ever again happens to anyone and you can't find it.... harrase your ISP.
            thanks for the reaction
