I just installed MODX on my webserver for the first time using softaculous. When I log into the admin panel when I go to click on the different settings I get a blank white screen underneath with nothing showing?

You're probably going to have to change some things on the server though.
If everything in the installation docs checks off, especially the php.ini settings, such as magic_quotes, register_globals, etc. and you've cleared the cache (delete all the files in core/cache), then try going to the database and in the system_settings table, turn compress_css and compress_js off by setting them to 0.
Clear the cache, try to log in.
You can also search here, there are threads for this subject in the forum. It's also possible that your softalicious setup didn't make your admin user a super user. Which would lock you out of the manager once inside. It's happened to me with server install softwares. I avoid them normally and install manually due to these kinds of things.
