HI,
I was developing a website using modx using the IP address (before I got the DNS name).
On Firefox, everything worked fine. On Chrome, none of the subpages (access via index.php?id=something) would load via ip address.
When I switched to the DNS name for the URL, none of the subpages would load on Firefox anymore. Every link on the home page (stored under index.php?id=something) doesn't display.
Any ideas on how to fix/debug?
Did you run setup again (in upgrade mode) after getting the DNS name? That should straighten out the paths. (Don't proceed with setup unless you can check the "upgrade install" box).
Also, make sure you have this tag in the head section of all templates:
<base href="[[++site_url]]" />
and make sure all your href links to the sites own pages are in the form of MODX tags:

Did you happen to end up with a temporary folder and path while using the IP to develop?
Check the paths in the files listed in this thread. Due to the fact that sub-pages use the mysite.com/sub-page url, if these paths are set to some other folder or even perhaps the IP, it probably won't find the sub pages if it's looking for that old folder.
