I am new to this website stuff and just had two questions... I am using the standard template and wanted to get rid of the thing at the top of the screen that tells you what pages you are on...example..."About Us ยป Current Season" at the top of the pages..If the user goes to a different page, it changes to where the page is located in the directory..How do I get it so it is not on the page and not visible to the user?
Also I have this error when I sign in...Is this an easy fix?
Configuration warning: 'GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found'
What does this mean?
MODx needs the GD and Zip extension enabled for PHP. While MODx will work without them, you will not be able to take full advantage of the built-in File Manager, Image Editor or Captcha for logins.
Any help with both would be GREATLY appreciated...I am learning and figure these are simple fixes but I am clueless and couldn't even search the forums to see if there were fixes in there because I did not know what to search... Thanks

You will need to get whoever manages the server to add them to the PHP install. Easy if they know what they are doing.
haha well good news is I manage the server...bad news is I dont know how
As for the first one - i guess you installed the demo site templates and pages that comes as an option at set-up? You will have to go to the templates section in Elements - find the template and simply remove the code that creates the breadcrumbs.
David,
That worked perfect! Thanks so much for helping me. It looks great now!
I just have to figure out how to load the php things server side I guess.

What is your server? If it's CentOS or some other RedHat derivative of Linux, adding PHP functionality is easy.
yum install php-gd
yum install zip
yum install unzip
Just Google for yum and whatever you want to install.
Other versions of Linux, Solaris, Max OS X, etc, have their own package management systems. Again, Google is your friend.
If you are using a Windows server, you may just be able to enable the .dll in your php.ini file. You may have to download the latest PHP for Windows and copy its dll files to your php folder.

Ok, I am using DreamHost..Is that Linux you think?
