MODMAILCHIMP

I've implemented the modmailchimp which is an excellent add-on and saved me a ton of work. I'm calling it using a custom form such that I can style the input boxes to fit in the space allocated to my mailing list form.

The problem I've come across is when there's an error in the form and the user has pressed submit. The same page comes back with the correct error, such as, email address missing, however, the form has since disappeared. It's almost as if the custom form is being ignored the second time round.

Using the normal form etc works as intended.

I'm not familiar with that extra, but it sounds like it could be a bug in the code that doesn't display the form if it has been submitted.

One solution would be to implement your own JavaScript validation so that the form will always pass the MailChimp validation when submitted.

Yes - it appears this is a bug/problem. Not sure if it is recent or not but will look into it.

@jpfotoz - sorry, there have been no bug reports about this until today.
