Deleting resource, and converting resource from directory to page

I've installed MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl (traditional), the Bootstrap theme, and Wayfinder.

I created a resource called 'contact' and put content in that resource.

I then right-clicked the 'contact' resource, and created an additional resource called 'nestedcontact' (just to see how the nesting thing worked), and gave that resource some content as well.

In the resources tab of the manger, this changed the 'contact' page icon into a directory icon.

But now I cannot undo this.

I've tried to delete the 'nestedcontact' resource, so that resource now shows in bold red. And i've unpublished it, so it now shows as italicized bold red in the resource tab.

However, the 'contact' resource remains a directory instead of a page. How do I purge the deleted 'nestedcontact' resource and revert my 'contact' resource from a directory back to the page that it's intended to be?

Click on the little trashcan icon at the top of the Resource tree.
