As a freelance web developer, I develop website solutions for individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. If a client doesn't already favor a CMS, I tend to recommend MODX (I don't think I need to tell you folks why). So I've found myself supporting a lot of MODX installations, and I'm starting to notice a pattern.
When it comes to documenting how to accomplish basic, administrative tasks in MODX (i.e. how to create a page, how to use TinyMCE, how to move a page within a menu, what is an alias and what does it do, etc.), I find myself writing my own documentation, specifically tailored to individual clients. I can't find any kind of documentation that is geared at regular, non-technical administrators of MODX. I did some quick googling, and I can't find any discussion around this subject either.
Are there any plans to maintain a public repository of administrator-focused documents? Is this something people would find useful? Again, this would be a non-technical, task-oriented library. If there is such a repository, please point me to it!

There was actually a post about this very subject, probably two weeks ago. Try searching user guide, or end user guide to find it.
It would be nice to have something like you describe, but as of yet I don't think anything has been documented and there's no repository.
If those who have such documentation would share what they've got, perhaps even in a thread... it could be compiled and submitted perhaps.

That'd be the one, yep. It's not always easy to find what you're looking for here. Largely due to the wide variation of languages and phrasing for any particular idea/issue.
