I just started out with modx and still feel more comfortable with a template system as Twig. So I made a snippet to use Twig in modx.
All Resource and Template Variables are pushed to the Template directly. For additional Values add them accordingly. The Values can then be accessed as you would with Twig. It's not even near perfect yet. But it will evolve… or I get used to modx templates.
Maybe somebody wants to have a look and test it.
