    Hi All

Is it possible to have a personalized category order on TV variables tab?
My doubt is equal of this old post https://forums.modx.com/index.php?topic=50439.0

Sort order of the TV's themselves:

Edit the template variable in questions (edit, not quick edit). On the right is an input: sort by. Simply enter the numeric value that you want the TV's to display in.

      Sort Order of Categories:

They sort in alpha order, not sure there's a way to modify sort order without getting into modifying some code.

Just add number in front of the names

        1. Zebra's
        2. Fish
        3. Apes

It´s what i´m doing at this moment! But don´t you guys this that could be interesting, in the future Modx versions to have a kid of drag funcionality on this Category section? Then, in your template all you need to do is reorder under your needs!!!!!

Right click a 'Category' > choose 'Rename Category' > assign numeric 'Rank'. Not sure what version saw this addition, but it sure is handy!

Ok but what if I don't want my client see numbers in front of category names inside his CMS?????
I don't think inserting a number is a smart solution. Anything else?
