Custom Manager page views

Hello,

I am currently writing a plugin (custom manager pages) and I would like to make a group with users in it, that have access to log into the manager back end and view these custom pages - nothing else.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction? Ive had a look for contexts (as I thought that would be it?) but cant find anything similar to what Im after.

Many thanks in advance

Hello

Probably you want something similar to this - http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Making+Member-Only+Pages

And if you are using the Login plugin, have a look here - http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Basic+Setup

Thanks for the reply, those are for web pages, not manager pages...

Then you have to create groups, associate pages to that groups and then associate users to groups.
You can have more detailed information here - http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Security+Tutorials [ed. note: legues last edited this post 14 years ago.]
