    Hello toall!

is there a possibility to publish some content changes after checking them? My client wants to change some text on his website, but he first want to take a look at it (to see if everything is right), before publishing it. Something like a preview version. Is this possible with modx 0.9.5?

    Thanks for help,

    captain

      wow, that was fast smiley

i know, that i can set document-states to unpublished, but then the document is not online anymore. right? but if i want to do changes on a live site, i just can save the document and then the changes are live. but i want a step between.

      1. do changes
      2. check if changes are alright
      3. publish

      or am i totally confused?

yes, that could be a solution. but not a very handy one... i think something like a better workflow should be implemented in further versions of modx.

        thanks for help!

Agreed, and from what I understand, MODx 0.9.7 will pave the way for live previews (before committing changes) and content versioning so you revert to a previous state of a document if someone makes changes you don’t like or accidentally deletes a bunch of content.

But... as of the latest release (0.9.6), there is no live preview.
