shown TV on 1 page, but executable on every page

Hello,

i have a TV where i can search for an image.

i want that people can change this TV on one page, but the problem is: this image is viewable on every page of the site.

and i have noticed that if i don't apply this TV on all the templates, then this TV is not viewable on a page of the site that doesn't have access to this TV.


other question that comes with this: is there for example a solution that people can change all TV's on one page, but that i can choose in the code which TV will be shown on which page

if the second, this is possible with getResourceField, if you are on REVO.
if you are on EVO with getField

one solution could be:
Create one Resource for each Image under a Parent-Resource.
Then use a resource-list-TV or a listbox-TV with @SELECT or @EVAL - binding to get the resources in a dropdown, where you can select the Resource with the wanted image in the image-TV

Then again, if its only for one image, use getField/getResourceField together with the output of your dropdown-TV to get the selected image.

so i will try the option getfield (i have evolution)

i have noticed that i can hide tv's in mm_demo_rules

so this can also be an option to hide this image-tv in the manager for the users
