    Hi all

    When I just set up Articles, I imported some blog pages based around a previous MODX template and blog using Quip, getResources and a property set.

    The property set had named the Quip threads in the form
    blogPost{page-id-of-post}

    Articles has calls which expect the Quip threads to be in the form
    article-b{page-id-of-blog}-{page-id-of-post}

    Articles, on import, did not rename the Quip threads, so the threads were a little broken, in the manager, and did not display on the pages.

    I solved it for myself by renaming the threads in the database.

    Not sure if this is a bug, or if there is a reason why it is this way, or if it is fixable in the Articles import feature?

      I too have this problem. What thing did you change in the database?

      I managed to change all occurrences of thread and the comment show up in backend. But they do not show in the frontend. Articles do show the comment count but the comment are not visible.
        The sun always shines for tough guys.

        If I remember correctly I changed the names of the threads in the database. There is a table modx_quip_comments and within that there is a column named "thread"; I altered the thread name manually to what the article calls expect.

        Not elegant I know but it did work.
