weblink to file on webserver

Hi,

Is it possible with a module or something to link directly to a uploaded file on the server ?

for example : if you go to the page `Home` and you see the Sub-Page `PDF File` then if you click on this link the website directly opens that pdf file.

Use insertweblink instead of new document

and place your link in there.

Hi,

sorry but is still can`t get it.
i can`t find the button that you mentiont. i see 2 folders but if i click on a 1 of those folders, you can only select already made pages.

your not sure that you installed an extra module for it ?

BTW : i`m using modx 0.9.6

PS : thank you very much for the fast response

the selecting a file for the menu (like a document) is not possible at this moment the only way to do that is knowing the path and type this by hand while creating another web-link.
in a document it is easy to do, just make a link by selecting some text and instead of typing a external link use the browse server button in the link pop up window.

ok,

Thank you very much for the fast reply !!!
