I’ve had this a couple of times when my session crashed and I logged back in to the manager or I was editing the database via phpMyAdmin.
Maybe the template is locked from a previous session?
Try logging out and clearing your browser cache, failing that access the database and delete the sessionid for the admin account in the modx_user_attributes table it may help.
That error is an apache webserver error page, not MODx. You will need to check your [tt].htaccess[/tt] file and apache configuration to diagnose the issue.
Unfortunately, there are so many variables that could cause this, there’s no easy way for any of us to give you the exact answer without more information.
Thanks all for the suggestions.
I tried to clear the cache.
I changed the .htaccess and a couple of other things I found by doing some searching.
None have worked so far.
I’ll have to check with the server operator about the Apache config.
I may also do a reinstall even though this install gave me no errors. A reinstall of a different software package cleared up an issue I had on that software even though the initial install went ok.
Thanks,
Shaun
