Modx for an event / community site

Hello

i wonder if modx is adapted for my project. i need these features:

• Establishment management

o Add
o Edit
o Suppr

• Events management (if i click on an establishment i get its description and its related events)
• Calendar (with easy access to get all the events per day).
• Comments + rating for the events / establishment
• Gallery

o Category management
o easy upload
o transparent logo added when i upload pics

• Users management

o Groups
o Ranks (Admins / super-users / users )

• Contact / forms + server side validation
• Forum
• Newsletter
• Maybe multilanguage...

i use modx for one year, i know i can use Maxigallery for the pics management. But what should i use for the events/establishment/calendar + comments / rating ?
u think my project is feasible with modx ?

many thanks
PS: sorry if my english sucks, i’m french

you can sort documents by date and such.. but honestly, Modx is weak in the calendar department.

do a test of Drupal, it might work well.

yeah i know

i’m building the site with joomla, i dont like this CMS...

Well don’t knock it completely... I must stress, this is more of a framework than a cms... it supposed to take some brains to figure it out.
