How long does it take for a new Addon to get accepted?

I've submitted my AJAX Framework as a new addon for MODx. It states that it will be reviewed. I assume this is for quality control. Is there a set of conventions that must be followed, aside from making the transport package? Does anyone know how long it takes to get reviewed and, thus, accepted?

Also, does each patch have to be reviewed, as well?

I'm honestly just wondering what to expect (especially in terms of updates). If I make an update and it is back-logged, this is a concern for me.

I think it probably depends on the review queue but the process is very ambiguous. When I first submitted my add on I expected to receive some kind of notification but never did so I didn't even notice it was up until over a month later. I submitted an update yesterday and it seems like that passed review within 24 hours.
