Form help

I am having a problem setting up the form, on the default installation I can see the form script in the snippets and the call for it, I can then see the form itself under the chunks option.
Now my problem is how do I set up the parameters to send me an email, on the contact page I have the following code

[!eForm? &formid=`ContactForm` &subject=`[+subject+]` &to=`[([email protected])]` &ccsender=`1` &tpl=`ContactForm` &report=`ContactFormReport` &invalidClass=`invalidValue` &requiredClass=`requiredValue` &cssStyle=`ContactStyles` &gotoid=`46` !]

I had a look thought the documentation here http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/EForm but this is not obvious for a newbie to modx to fully understand, can someone point me in the right direction with the simplest instructions.

With the above code when i enter the contact form I get the following message
Main mail: Mailer was unable to send mailCould not instantiate mail function.

I am sure this is simple but I just cant quite work it out.

OK yes that was my problem, now you point it out it’s quite obvious, my problem is being so new to this I don’t fully understand the parameters or the syntax, I am working on it but it’s a lot to learn.
So far I have been getting by taking working pages and dropping the code calls from them into my templates.
