church members directory help needed

I am looking for an open source members directory that is a stand alone version, apart from MODx.

I am looking for the directory to have a secured login system, the ability of the members to browse other profiles by name, address and/or zip code, and be able to add fields such as birthdate, phone numbers and email address.

I would also like the functionality of adding a photo to the member and their family.

Does anyone know of an open source PHP/MySQL system out there? I am looking to eventually integrate this into both a MODx and Wordpress format.

Thanks in advance!

You could take a look at Hotscripts.com, but I’d rather use Uncle’s PPP-system if you’re using MODx. This integrates flawlessly into the MODx webuser system, is highly configurable, and has all the functions you’re looking for. If you want to integrate it in Wordpress at a later stage, take a look at the MODx API. That may ease the coding a bit...

(I know PPP isn’t a stand-alone system, but I recommend using a system that’s already built for MODx instead of "inventing the wheel again"...)
