    There is one interesting moment.

    1)
MODx Evo 1.0.4 - Ditto call:
    [[Ditto?id=`main` &documents=`[*id*]` &tagData=`ArticlesCategory` &tagDelimiter=`, ` &tpl=`tplCurrentArticle`]]
    - results good, as expected.

    2)
MODx Evo 1.0.6 - Ditto call:

    [[Ditto?id=`main` &documents=`[*id*]`
    &tagData=`ArticlesCategory` &tagDelimiter=`, `
    &tpl=`tplCurrentArticle`]]

Error - "Execution of a query to the database failed - You
have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to
your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[*id*])".
Ditto version is same in all case. What it is?

I am no expert but I think there might have been a problem with the updating process

I am using similar Ditto calls in a couple of my sites and have recently upgraded from 1.0.4 to 1.0.6 without any problems.

If you have a backup of the old site incl. DB, I would suggest going through the update process again, simply to confirm that that isn't the problem.

Sorry I couldnt help any more smiley

It was not updating process, it was clean install 1.0.6 on other server.

          Try &parents=`[*id*]` instead of &documents
