@sketchee Sorry -- overzealous .gitignore file in a higher directory. I should probably change the name of that file. It should be there now.

Be sure the branch is set to refactor before downloading or pulling, otherwise you'll be getting the old, released version, which is very different. Also, make sure the mycomponent files are in assets/mycomponents/mycomponent (though that will probably change in a bit).

The build.config.php file should be in the assets/mycomponents/mycomponent/_build directory.

@fuzzicallogic That all sounds great. Sorry about the tone of my message -- insomnia is making me kind of grouchy lately.

Thanks BobRay! I found the build file ok this time and gave it another go.

I'm sure using myComponent is by far the best way to create a full blown hardcore package, but I'm afraid for me, who's more of a designer than a developer, just looking at all that code I have to edit makes me break a sweat... I started with the first few lines, but it became apparent pretty quickly that I'd have to invest a fair amount of time trying to get my head around things – time that I don't have. I'd also never feel confident that I'd done everything right.

For now I've made the decision to stick with PackMan and do stuff like settings, missing TVs, access policies etc. manually for each project, but I'm very much looking forward to seeing a release of myComponent with a GUI similar to that of PackMan, since it seems myComponent is much more complete when it comes to the backend.

Without you guys building all this clever stuff the rest of us would be pretty much screwed, so thank you – and keep up the great work smiley

Remember that this is a pre-alpha version of the package. It's working (mostly) but it's still under construction.

          bootstrap.php was in

          assets/mycomponents/mycomponent/_build/utilities/

but in the latest version, it was moved to

          assets/mycomponents/mycomponent/core/components/mycomponent/elements/snippets/
