Gallery would not install now I can't edit resources

Hi peeps,

I have a site running ModX 2.0.0-pl and i downloaded the Gallery package through package management. On trying to install the Gallery package, i get the errors as stated in this post:

So i decided to remove the Gallery package and start from the beginning of the process to see if it would work the second time - same issue again. removed the package from package management and now I have the hugely unfortunate issue of not being to edit my resources!!

I can view, quick update, duplicate, publish/unpublish and resource but just cant edit them.

When i click edit resource i get this:

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.websitenamehere.co.uk/manager/index.php?id=1&a=30. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Here are some suggestions:

Reload this webpage later.

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

Any ideas on how i can fix this? Really puzzled as to how this happened in the first place anyway!

Ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi adam_bloomer,

why not first update MODx to the newest version and then try again? Of course be sure to make backups of the files and the database first, in case the attempt to update fails.

Clear your cache by deleting all of the folders in the core/cache folder.
