Modx/Tiny MCE entering \ rather than links - help!

    I have a website running ModX version 1.0.2. On a Windows server.

    Its been working fine, but code has recently changed to:

    <a href=\"\\\">test</a>

    <div id=\"cleaning\"><img title=\"Cleaning Services\" src=\"assets/templates/images/cleaning.jpg\" alt=\"Cleaning Services\" width=\"198\" height=\"174\" />

    Doesn't matter whether i enter via Tiny MCE or manually.

    Any ideas?

      This means that your hosting did something to change the PHP config setting (perhaps updated the version of PHP).

      Now the php,ini setting "magic_quoutes_gpc" is set to On. This needs to be set to Off. How this can be done depends on your hosting configuration. You may need to contact your hosting tech support to find out how you can turn it off for your site.
