BEFORE (without QuickEdit):

I have tried removing the configuration options in QuickEdit, deleting my cache, and disabling QuickEdit completely. Does someone know the answer for this ?

That really looks like some source code got copied and pasted into the source content. QE should be sticking that in the <head> section of your doc. Did you disable the plugin or just the module; the plugin is what affects the front end.

You were correct about disabling the plugin. I’m sure though using QuickEdit would be a optimal alternative, so perhaps we can figure out the underlying cause here.

It’s fairly vanilla install, but there is another app (shopping cart) that runs along side...

I do agree that it should appear in the head, or not put in a hard return, would perhaps fix the problem--but not sure why it is doing it this way.

P.S. The reason modx is successful: 1. good framework to begin with, 2. good documentation, 3. and most important, fast replies in the forum.
