    I can't seem to get friendly URL's to work, and as I understand it I will not be able to have static resources such as a PDF file, show up as a link? I am in Revo 2.2.2-pl.

      I can't seem to get friendly URL's to work...

      Friendly URLs largely comes down to your .htaccess file. The option, of course, needs to be set. If you post your .htaccess, it will make it much easier to help you. In case you haven't seen it, you may read this tutorial.

      ... I will not be able to have static resources such as a PDF file, show up as a link?

      As far as I understand, this is not the case. You may make a resource reference any static file on your site and it will behave like a normal resource. At least this is the behavior in 2.2.4.

        Failure is just another word for saying you didn't want to try. "It can't be done" means "I don't know how".

        Thanks! I read thru it very quickly but will have to sit down and really go thru it when I have more time available. Our non-profit site is essentially fully functional now with some minor tweaking needed and additional content is now ready to go up. I just want to get everything perfected with this site before I start building up a retail site for my personal company! Next step is to get the non-profit site set up with various user levels that can go in and add/change content relative to their areas of function within the organization. I'm sure I will have a few questions to post on the forum at that time! smiley

          In most cases, it's just a matter of turning on the FURL System Setting and renaming ht.access to .htaccess in the MODX site root, making sure that you have this tag in the head section of all templates:

          <base href="[[++site_url]]" />

          If that doesn't do it, there's usually something odd (or wrong) with your host's server setup.
