If I add a TV to my template and then want to edit a ressource that uses this template, I only get a white page sad
When switching the template from one without the TV to the one with TV assigned, the same thing happens...

Did I just forget something? Already cleared the cache and deleted the TV!

I think I should mention that I'm very new to Modx and that I only added one TV, 2 templates and a few chunks and the slideshow manager snippet.

Would be very nice if someone could give me some tips what to do... server is shared LAMP.

Thanks in advance for any good tips!!

I would try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings (System -> System Settings - put 'compress' in the search box at the upper right).

Then delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in.

Thx for your support. I tried it but didn't help. I reinstalled (like said before I didn't do a lot before, so no problem). Right now I can use TV and everything seems to work.

        Lets see how long wink

If you used FTP to transfer the individual files, the odds are that you had a corrupted or missing file. It happens fairly often. Hopefully, you're OK now.

I see. Let's see how it goes. Btw after removing this version I tried installation via Softaculous... didn't work either (manager displayed only the top menu).

So right now I did the same again like before, FTP transfer, manual installation, no problems so far.

See this for another method of moving the files: http://bobsguides.com/modx-upgrade-faq.html.

It's about upgrading, but the part about moving the files applies to a new install.
