Retrieving Articles Outside of Articles

I would expect that the Articles snippet would be faster because it's less generic and will search only Articles rather than all resources.

Thanks Bob, is there any reason why the Articles Snippet won't work for me. Placing those tags in templates that are outside of Articles pulls nothing in. In fact that's when it renders the page un-viewable and displays a php error message on the screen.

I get this error on the page when loading the url-

Fatal error: Call to undefined method modDocument_mysql::getPostListingCall() in /home/sovereig/public_html/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/27.include.cache.php on line 45

I don't know. Maybe it needs some variables or placeholders that are only set on an Articles page.

We got it solved over Skype, sir BobRay. Basically, we just made the appropriate Snippet calls (Quip, tagLister, getResources, Archivist). The strange thing about this error is that it is not consistent. But regardless of whether it shows, it never seems to load the placeholders.

When it loads, it also defuncts the HTML around it... This doesn't happen on 2.2.4, however.
