    (using Articles 1.4.7 on revo 2.2.0) When i create a new article and place an image in the post, it appears in the manager / editor but doesn't show on the front end. I had originally made duplicates of the two default templates that came with the install (blog and articles) before i made any changes to them. Images can be placed in articles and do appear on the front end if using the default articles template, but not when using the duplicate template so maybe there's a clue there, but i haven't figured it out. If anyone might know why this is happening i'd love to hear from you.

      Hi, according to link below, you need to change the template defines in system settings, did you do this?

      http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Articles.Theming+Articles

      "articles.default_container_template" - Change this to your BlogTemplate (the duplicate)
      "articles.default_article_template" - Change this to your BlogPostTemplate (the duplicate)

        Thanks, I've changed both system settings here to use the duplicate templates (so for example, previously the values where at 0 and by selecting my duplicate templates from the drop down menus instead, they now read their respective id numbers. However, the issue still persists and images don't appear on the front end.

          @krillso:

          Those settings only affect new instances of ArticlesContainers and Articles. They don't affect the functional code in the least. sad

            Do you have a link we can review? It sounds like an incorrect assets path on your template.

              Sure, the link would be sovereignsailing.com/blog/latest-news

              I have an idea it has to be something to do with a path but can't get which or where it might be..

              (Just another point, is it at all possible that visitors who leave comments may also include image(s) in their response. I'm sure it is possible but wouldn't know off hand how to approach setting that up or what would be involved)

                Yes, that would be possible. You could have a file upload field in your Quip comment template.
