I have tried about 6 times to install MODX Revolution 2.2.4 and keep getting the following error:
The install failed because MODX could not unpack the /htdocs/core/packages/core.transport.zip package.
The file is writable, as is the core/packages directory.
I have downloaded ModX again and uploaded new files & cleared the database and still get the same issues. I am using a shared Apache server, PHP 5. What else do you need to know? Is there anything else I should check?
I've searched the forums but can't find an answer that matches - any help?

Are you uploading the files via ftp? After unpacking on your machine? If so, load the MODX zip file to the server, and unpack it via file manager. Apparently FTP transfer can miss or corrupt files.
