Best gallery for incorporation to large existing Evo install

Hello community,

I've been hired as a web designer by a business to take over a Evo Modx installation which has quite an extensive product catalogue.

They've requested a small thumbnail gallery for each product page that would be clickable to a light box effect and constructing this for each product is just not an option considering the volume of items already displayed on the website.

What im looking for is a gallery that can be applied to the page template, but call images for the specific product displaying at the time. What would be even better would be an upload option within the manager so that the client can add product images themselves.

If at all possible id like to only display about four images but have the gallery able to have more behind the scenes, which are only viewable once a thumbnail is clicked.

Im trying to work out MaxiGallery at the moment which is shaping up to be most of these things, but im quite new a Modx.

Anybody with some suggestions for galleries that can handle this type of load, or if someone can point me to a nice MaxiGallery explaination/tutorial would be very much appreciated.
