    Noah, to use the migx-snippet isn't the best option to get your records from your custom-table, because it uses the same getlist-processor as for the grid in the backend. This is not optimized for frontend-listings.

    You can also use rowboat or bloX for listings.
    bloX is very flexible for many different situations, but there's no documentation for it, yet.

      Hey Bruno,

      I've tried to use The following output Modifier called keyval with the code:
      $a = json_decode($input, true);

      return ($a[$options]=="" ? ' ' : $a[$options]);

      and this is my migx snippet call:
      [[!migx?  &configs=`mygallery` &tpl=`@CODE:<a href="[[+extended:keyval=`url`]]" ><img src="[[+image]]" alt="[[+extended:keyval=`tags`]]" /></a><h3>[[+title]]</h3></h3><p>[[+description]]</p>` &sortConfig=`[{"sortby":"RAND()"}]` &where=`{"published":"1"}`]]

      My output code looks like:

      <a href=" " ><img src="initiativesClosed.jpg" alt=" " /></a><h3>boom</h3></h3><p>tell me you love me</p>

      The extended fields with the output modifiers are blank. Why is that?

      The fields are definitely saved in the extended colum in the database.

      Thanks in advance,

      Noah

        Put your tpl-code in a chunk and call that chunk in &tpl.

        I think also, its better to use another snippet for listing your records. For example bloX:

        [[!bloX?
        &packagename=`yourpackagename`
        &classname=`yourxpdoclassname`
        &tpls=`row:yourchunk`
        &sortConfig=`[{"sortby":"RAND()"}]`
        &where=`{"published":"1"}`]]
          -------------------------------

          Hey Bruno,

          I understand you think it's better to use other snippets for front end output, I'm still trying to figure out why those placeholders aren't outputting. Are you ever available on skype?

          Thanks,

          Noah

            [[+extended:keyval=`url`]]

              Hi Bruno,

              Yes I put it in a chunk and still no output. I am willing to give you access to manager if that helps.

              Many Thanks for all your help!

                  Hey Bruno,

                  I just got back to computer. Very cool! I see how to use the Blox calls too! That is super cool.

                  I really appreciate your efforts. So Blox processes faster than the MIGX snippet? I'm looking forward to learning how to use it more.

                  Thanks,
                  Noah
